Songs From the Road was born out of time spent in motion: trains, airports, unfamiliar streets, hotel rooms, and the strange feeling of waking up in a place that is entirely new and somehow briefly becomes your home.

Music has taken me to places I never imagined I would see, and every trip brought a new set of experiences, encounters, and emotions.

Traveling has always carried a particular emotional rhythm for me. There is the excitement before leaving, the anticipation of what waits around the corner, the romance of arriving somewhere new. But alongside that comes another side of the journey: loneliness, uncertainty, and a new, unfamiliar version of myself that comes to life in between destinations.

As I began putting this album together, I found myself searching for a collection of songs I would want to listen to while traveling. Songs that would keep me company on the road, bring a sense of comfort to what can often be an uncomfortable existence, and sit with different emotions without trying to resolve them.

Songs From the Road follows the emotional landscape of travel as much as the physical one. Some moments feel full of possibility and movement, while others sit in the stillness of being far away- watching unfamiliar city lights through a window, missing people and places, or trying to find comfort in the temporary.

My hope is that this music becomes a companion. One that finds you on your own journey and brings a little comfort, wonder, and room to dream.
